Nordstrom’s window displays are carefully curated to capture attention and draw shoppers into a story. For six years I worked with a small but talented team to bring each display to life, from product selection and mannequin styling to constructing and installing props that set the scene.
Product was carefully curated based on the customer we were trying to reach. Displays featuring high-end designer collections required a careful balance of artistry and restraint, ensuring the styling remained true to the vision of the collection. For trend-driven windows, we focused aspirational fashion cycles while tailoring the selections to resonate with our market’s customer base.
Every visual element was considered; painted finishes, precise lighting adjustments, and each styling detail, big or small. In a busy mall environment where attention is fleeting, the window displays needed to do more than look beautiful. They had to create a moment that invited customers to pause, engage, and step into the world we had built.
